| With its rolling hills and small population, Dunstable has a scenic beauty, which is a hallmark of this region.
Located in northern Massachusetts just south of Nashua, New Hampshire, this tiny town is zoned single family and farming with an estimated population count of under 2,300 people spread out among approximately 840 households.
The town has two small neighborhood variety stores having limited operating hours. However, it is close enough to the malls and markets of Nashua for convenient shopping.
As one would imagine in such a rural setting, recreation abounds. One hundred nineteen acres of Town Forest offer hunting, cross country skiing, hiking, nature observing and snowmobiling. The 106 acres of the Cambridge YMCA provide residents with the opportunity to canoe, swim and fish. Those with an affinity for downhill skiing may do so at the Blanchard Hill Ski Area.
The townspeople take special pride in their community, and are sincerely involved in its government. Nowhere is this more evident than with the lively participation found at the Town Meetings.
Perhaps two of the main attractions of Dunstable are friendliness and congeniality of its townspeople. The genuine warmth and hospitality found here are truly inviting. In conjunction with the area’s open spaces, rural character, high quality schools and good real estate values, newcomers continue to choose Dunstable as their home. |
